The strategy is also very fast-paced and so it is actually a feat to get bored in this game, unlike the long drawn-out scenarios of Age of Empires II and Empire Earth series. This is the game that revolutionized the RTS genre, making the players weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each different combat units. Yes, the graphics are horrible, the gameplay is limited and simple, and the maps are small.
